Step aside ebike world, the Mountaineer electric bike continues to improve year after year. It now has a maintenance-free 500 watt brushless motor vs. the geared 450 watts. In addition, it also has alloy rims for better weight support and control, a vast improvement over spokes which required regular servicing. Other improvements include the additions of odometer, speedometer, cruise control, silent signals, louder horn, remote alarm security system, improved headlight range and optimum weight distribution for better balance and handling ability. The new Mountaineer is still the best electric bike in its class boasting a great combination of torque and power with the ability to carry a maximum load of up to 260 lbs. Equipped with the reliable powerful 48v 20ah battery, it can travel a distance of 55 kms per charge at 10A-15A or 75 kms per charge running at 5A (based on 200 lbs). The e-bike also has enough cargo space for your possessions under the seat, glove box, and rear trunk. The only setback to the Mountaineer is the speed is limited to the law requirements, however, all things being equal, the Mountaineer is still the electric bike to own for the serious ecyclist.
